How do I become a Dealer?
Answer
To start the process of becoming a registered Dealer with Ellett Brothers, please fill-in and submit the "Information" requested on the Become a Dealer page and PRINT-OUT the New Dealer Application Packet.

Completing the application does not guarantee an account will be opened. Ellett Brothers sells to Stocking Retailers ONLY throughout the USA.

Why does the Dealer Locator Map show my business location down the street?
Answer

The Dealer Locator map is pulling geographic coordinates based on your street address, city, state and zip code. If your (pinned) location is off, please submit your Decimal Degress for Latitude and Longitude via the Contact Us link. If you do not know your store locations Decimal Degrees, please use the following website as a tool to obtain them. iTouchMap.com

Why isn't my login working?
Answer

When entering your User Name and Password, you must enter it exactly as you requested it. All logins are case sensitive. Check that first.

How do I request a login for your commerce storefront?
Answer

If you already have a Dealer account with Ellett Brothers, simply click on the DEALER LOGIN.  When the login screen appears, select the REQUEST A WEBSITE LOGIN option. Complete the form, read and check the Affidavit box, then click SUBMIT. Within the day, you will receive a confirmation email that your request has been completed.

How long does it take to receive a login after requesting it?
Answer

Once you have requested a login you will receive an activation email within 24 hours. The only exception is when the login is requested over the weekend. Then you will receive the activation notice the first business day we return.

How do I change my password?
Answer

When logged into the Ellett Brothers commerce storefront, go to the MY ACCOUNT drop down menu, located at the top left of your browser window. Select Change Password. The next screen that displays will be an electronic form. Simply type over the existing password field, retype the password in the confirmation field, and click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the form.

When searching for an item, do I really have to choose an item from every drop down box in the menu?
Answer

No, You may select any one of the drop down menus as your starting point. These ADVANCED SEARCH options are designed to help you narrow down your search.

Example:  If you know you'd like to view all the Browning Long Guns, simply select the category "Long Guns" and then go to the Manufacture dropdown menu and select "Browning". Your search will return all the Browning Long Guns we inventory.

How do I remove an item from a saved order?
Answer
At the top left of your screen, you will see the SAVED ORDERS link.  Click on the Saved Orders link to view your saved order and then select the order you'd like to modify.  Once the order displays on your screen, click the MOVE TO CART button. Check the “Remove” box to the right of the item(s) you'd like to remove and then click the UPDATE CART button. You may now proceed to checkout or create a favorites list.

Due to product and inventory changes, please do not use the “Saved Orders” feature as a Favorites List.
Question
My business is located in California and I need my order's Department of Justice (DOJ) number?
Answer
Once an order is placed, you receive an Order Confirmation email. Your CA DOJ number is located below your address information on the PDF attachment. You may also view at any time the DOJ number by going to – MY ACCOUNT- then -ORDER REVIEW-.  You now have the option to select an order number or reprint your Order Confirmation. When selecting the order number you can view the DOJ Verification Approval Number just within the order information area.

How do I handle a damaged shipment?
Answer

If you receive a damaged shipment, or suspect a shipment is damaged, notify carrier (Motor Freight, UPS, Parcel Post) and Ellett Brothers immediately.

IMPORTANT: Before a carrier will process any claim, its representative must inspect the merchandise and the shipping carton. It is also critical that you sign the bill of lading as damaged or short at time of delivery.

DO NOT DISCARD OR DESTROY ANY CARTONS.
